Christmas Shopping

Christmas ShoppingWell, its that time of year again – let the Christmas Shopping begin!

This year many people will take advantage of the many online deals available.  Some of the best sources are Amazon.com, eBay, and for those gadgets on the wish lists, there is Best Buy.  I like shopping online for many reasons.  Of course you save wear-and-tear on the car and save money on gas.  But what I really like about online Christmas shopping is that it is available when I have time to shop.  Another reason is the choices.  There is so much more to choose from via the Internet.  And it is easier to compare prices when all you have to do is open a new browser window!

Many online retailers accept a variety of payments including credit cards and PayPal, which makes checkout a breeze.

If you are the organized sort, you probably already have your shopping list completed.  If that is still on your, “to-do” list may I make a suggestion?  Set up a MindMap for the holidays.  If you don’t have this great free program on your computer already, you can download Freemind MindMap software here.  Make your lists for each of your family members and others.  They are easy to edit and you can even put them on your smart phone.  Also, make a Mind Map for holiday chores and events.  Are you cooking this holiday?  Make a a map of your grocery list and cooking schedule.

Here is a few things that Santa might want to consider – tell the elves they can take a shortcut at Amazon.com 🙂

Okay, now for real, let’s get that Christmas Shopping done and then enjoy what the season is really all about – friends, family, and the love of God.
